you found something funny, really I think it's not such a bad thing that you found it so. I guess it was too much for her daughters, but that's ok too, everyone is different.

We have photos from my Dad's funeral where my brother is pretending to light a match under the coffin (right before the service, and I think we were all reacting to the stress etc)...other people wouldn't understand so I am loathe to post the pic....one sister (who wasn't there) I wouldn't think of showing it too, she just wouldn't get it.

Then the following Father's Day we had a toast to "absent fathers" and my brother piped up that if he had known we were going to do that, he would have brought Dad along (his ashes still being on top of his wardrobe at that point). We all pretty much wet ourselves laughing.

I hope you are ok Helen and that you are able to heal a bit soon.
