a perfectly reasonable philosophy on transition. People keep telling me that opportunities arise from what seems like bad luck, so I'll also go with that flow and see what other kind of mischief I can get into. I'm pretty tired of research science, and have been for a while, so I'm not entirely heartbroken.
I'm in a writer's group, too, and am about to join a second. I think it's a worthwhile exercise. And fun!
