Last year, a guy I hadn't seen since I was in my very early 20's got in touch. He had been in a bad car accident, broken back, and I hadn't seen him since. We were never close friends, more like nodding friendly aquaintances, so the reuinion was ..ok, you know, didn't really know the guy. At any rate, the reason for the renewed contact was that he was trying to put together a reunion of all those party types from 25 years ago, which, he did. It was held this last summer, massively succesful and I declined to go.
As all this planning was taking place, I found myself on Rockys mailing list. At first, a couple of those goofy things people email and then, a letter extolling the heinous nature of Bill C-6 and urging me and everyone on the mailing list to rally to his cry to contact our MP's in an effort to thwart this travesty of our freedoms....
Oh my.
So this I ignored. For the record Bill C-6 is a bill that allows the same powers that your Homeland Securities guys got. The difference, is that these powers are modified and designed to be used ONLY by Health Canada, so that HC can take out and take down unsanitary manufacturing while its STILL unsanitary. As it stands, Health Canada has to give notice of inspection, which gives unsanitary manufacturers opportunity to pull a bait and switch. Bill C-6 is a good thing.
So, I ignore this. Yesterday however, I get an email from Rocky, all about the dangers of the H1N1 vaccination.

This Kilde, is a fruitcake. Google her, she's a big advocate about microchip mind control and is thoroughly convinced that we have UFO visitors quite routinely. How do you spell NUTBAR? And further dude, all of that info is just a Wikipedia reference away. How would you feel if one of us refrained from getting our kids this vaccine because of watching this nefarious bullshit, and then one of them died from H1N1. Would that bother you?
