Thank you Nancy for the nice words. Yes, if one can't find a good Doberman then maybe a mal or D.S. would work out, but they'd probably be better satisfied with the more traditional GSD.
I just wanted folks to know where Reine and Badga came from, and the important role that genetics plays into the end result. Nothing can take its place, as well as nothing can replace good, consistent training. Our Dutch business partner is always being asked by Americans during our seminars how the KNPV is able to build such strong dogs. His primary statement is so true, "First, just show up." Show up and train, train, train. No fancy gadgets or shortcuts will ever take the place of quality genetics and proper training.
