th...thanks for ur concern...here's my story, and i hope fran is reading, cause this is my best true-life comedy...
basketball is big here, too...in fact, my 2 sons started for the four time NY State Champs, Amityville (no horror house jokes, please) and now play college basketball...one is a senior, the other a freshman and they live together in an apartment at college...so, i call them up to tell them what happened to me and before i could get a word out, the older one, in his saddest voice says, "dad, bad news, i broke my leg, i'm out for the season", and before i could say a word, the younger one grabs the phone and in his most-excited happiest voice says, "dad, great news, reggie broke his leg, he's out for the season, coach said i'm starting!!!"...so, what's a dad to do: cry for the older ones bad break, or be happy for the younger one's lucky break???...
anyway, thanks for the concern, and YES, i am still playing basketball, which actually doesn't hurt too much...what really kills me, r the 3 hour walks thru the mall my 16 year old daughter and her friends put me thru every other day!!!...
besides fran's great comic acting, the reason i love the nanny sooo much is cause i'm a single stay-at-home parent for my 3 kids...so, sometimes i'm fran, sometimes i'm mr schefield, but mostly, i'm niles!!!...
