Every time I log on to this site nothing is going on. I'm getting more and more distant and the players are just not here. I know we vowed to keep this place functional till the end, but to me it seems kind of like a formality to try and keep our characters a float here.
It's been six months since we made that vow. We've had only a handful of events occur in that time. I would like to propose that we say goodbye to the CCW.
I'm not talking about a massive big bang ending I'm talking about just stopping everything we've done and closing the door behind us. All of us have moved on in some way, and the spirit that was here has long sense died.
It fucking sucks. Ten years of my work has been archived on this site but, I can see the forest for the trees. CCW's time is over. I would like to just pull the plug.
If we can use it as an archive or suggest a merger with another site I'm all for it. If there is a creature out there who wants to preserve it and can do so nothing would make me happier.
I don't see the value in trying to keep up the angles. We've done a hell of job writing CCW's story and amending it to serve our needs, but being the only ones doing it is too much of a burden in my opinion.
I'm not going to just stop writing here, that is unless we all agree that CCW has run it's course. I'll try and keep things going if we want to have the championship and press conference but, I'm not getting much about those things as it is. In fact I'm getting nothing from anyone about them.
As a supporter of this site, it's players, and ideas it pains me to mention this. But I'm also a realist. We have all placed our characters elsewhere. We don't talk about CCW like we used to, and so much of the energy has left it's like walking through a ghost town.
So, as of right now I need to know. What is it we should do? Keep going or just say goodbye?
