So any reader (some hope) knows what each individiual story is about before deciding on which one they want, I've written a short summary of my stories posted so far including the all important ratings - one for how old you should be before you read it (U, PG, etc.), the other for how mad I went when writing it (1-5 1 = as sane as I get 5 = completely bonkers). If there is any correspondence between the two ratings, it is probably sheer coincidence.
Never Said Goodbye (complete) - My first ever Shelle fic, set before the truth about the entire Gina fiasco came out. Megan and Shawn were best friends in boarding school, now she's in trouble and Shawn wants out of Salem. A summer later and there are friendships to be salvaged, and new ones to be created. Including a unique performance of the Shangri-Las song 'Leader of the Pack'. Still Shelle, though you may not believe it after chapter 14. Continued in My Boyfriend's Back. Age rating - PG-13 though with violence at points. Madness rating - 1.
My Boyfriend's Back (ongoing) - Read NSG or this will make little sense. Shawn's in trouble and there's no one to help him. Angels, Dimeras and a few surprise guest appearances and a poem by M. Age rating - PG-13. Madness rating 3 just for the ice cream scene.
Twenty Four Hours from Salem (complete) - my most sappy and romantic piece. Shawn's car breaks down on New Year's Eve, and he is rescued by a girl he nicknames Blue Eyes. The only problem is he's got a fiancee back in Salem. Age rating - PG. Madness rating - a fairly sane 1 1/2 unless you count the cat.
Whitney Houston Has Nothing On You (complete) - short story about reaffirming love and a certain movie star. Age rating - U. Madness rating - 1.
The End of It All (complete) - short story about what really happened to all the teens who no one particularly liked in High School. Age rating - PG-15 for violence to doughnuts. Madness rating - 4.
Tendin' Bar at the Cheatin' Heart (complete) - short story about one night in the Cheatin' Heart Bar and how a brown eyed barman and a blue eyed singer solved all of Salem's love troubles. Age rating - U. Madness rating - 3.
Sugar Is Sweet (complete) - Originally in response to a challenge, Belle disappears and returns years later on Valentine's Day and finds a deeply cynical Shawn waiting. Fairy tales, Cupids, biology books, candy hearts and spatulas. What more could you want? Age rating - U unless you have a problem with spatulas. Madness rating - 4.
Standing in the Doorway (complete) - Shawn proposes, Belle gets pregnant, then the shock of finding out that they share a brother means she miscarries and pushes Shawn away. Originally published under the title 'Never Love Again', this is darker than anything but maybe MBB. Shawn is left Standing in the Doorway as life goes on. Age rating - PG for dark subject matter. Madness rating - 2.
Mr Steel Guitar (ongoing) - mystery fic. Read it and find out. Age rating - PG-13. Madness rating - 3 at the moment.
Pretty Woman (complete) - short story about Roy Orbison and finding love. Very short and hopefully sweet. Song fic. Age rating - U. Madness rating - 2.
Stud-U-Like (complete) - Silliness ensues when Shawn returns as the prize of a raffle and guess who won. Shelle are apart at the beginning but the ladies of Mrs H.'s bar soon sort that out. Age rating - PG-13. Madness rating - 5.
Doughnuts, Detectives and Aretha Franklin (complete) - Set before Nicole was revealed to be Colin Murphy's killer. Det. Irving is one of Chicago's finest, sent out to solve the mystery of who killed the Doctor. Along the way, he gives a little help to True Love, eats a lot of doughnuts, continues to be completely obsessed with Aretha Franklin music and drives various people nuts. Age rating - PG. Madness rating - 4 for the bar scene alone.
