Keep in mind that Calgary is a jurisdiction that bans smoking on outdoor patios but allows it indoors. Go figure. But the Calgary Sun reported last week that a proposal to have a referendum put on the ballot banning indoor smoking is in danger because of lack of interest.

In order for a question to be put on the ballot, 105,000 signatures are required-and have to be verified within 60 days. The anti-smoking nuts are crying the blues because Calgarians don’t seem to be very interested in this idiocy.
