Bob Chiarelli,
What entertainment venue will this fool not kill off. He has devasted and bankrupted the hospitality industry. The Byward Market is a ghost town, and the sidewalk merchants are having their worst year ever selling their products.
No one is coming or spending as predicted. There is no joy in "Ban City."
Tourism is in the toilet too.
Now Chiarelli is going BAN the 116 year old Ottawa Exhibition, further demonstrating his enthusiasm for killing off any form of entertainment for residents of Ottawa.
He is also charging you for it with municipal tax increases and get ready for another huge hole in your wallet.
Some fools asked for this abuse

The board of the Central Canada Exhibition fears the fair is in jeopardy and has issued termination notices to its four full-time employees, general manager Cheryl McBain said yesterday.
The Ex does not have a 2005 lease for its city-owned Lansdowne Park site and does not have the capital to move to its new 39-hectare site on Albion Road, said Ms. McBain, whose own termination date is Dec. 12.
