with any clarity (think it was a Trimbach); it was okay, but typically spicy. I'd like to try a botrytized example, but I am not sure how the spiciness of the Gewurztraminer would marry with the sweetness of the botytized flavour. From what I know of Gewurztraminer finesse is something that is rare in most examples. What year was the bottle you drunk from?
