The pasta looks very limp, and it's not as if cooking pasta is hard either, or even making
your own pasta, which is a breeze (or should be for any chef working in a restaurant) and the way the dish was served wasn't very appealing either. I wonder whether those were in fact "woodland mushrooms"? So often "woodland mushrooms" really means - Andrew cringes
- plain old button mushrooms or at a push some supermarket-bought chanterelles. I also don't see pasta as being a natural accompaniment to wild boar.
I think I would have prefered a simple piece of foie gras with some pear instead of the "trio of foie gras". Some things are best left unadulterated IMO.
Liked your name for the dessert. Now, a Star Wars-themed restaurant - wouldn't that be cool!
Maybe call it "Jedi Nights - Use the forks!"
