Schwartzenegger's just signed a bill banning the production of and sale of foie gras, in California.

Pure anti-elitist pandering. The brutal way foie gras is made bothers me, a bit, but I don't think foie gras production is much worse, if at all, than the way Tyson processes the millions of chickens that make their way into KFC buckets every day.
