I don't usually manage to travel first class but recently had two trips on United Airlines, one to Orlando and one to Paris. Orlando was just an unpleasant experience; service slapdash, poor food (greasy cheeseburger for lunch) and the wine choices a nondescript white and Fetzer red.
The trip to Paris was the complete opposite. While the food didn't quite match up to the meal on American Airlines meal, but it was delicious and seved with thoughtful wine choices, including a pleasant Bordeaux 2001 from a chateau I had never heard of. |
