On last moment's notice we're having a watch school instructor (who happens to live next door) over for X-Mas dinner. Unluckily for him, Mrs. ei8htohms and I had already decided to have burgers and fries for X-Mas dinner.
I picked up some decent (organic) ground beef and various other high quality ingredients for the feast and we'll be drinking some lovely wine (either Ridge Geyserville Zin (one of my favs) or Guigal Cote Rotie (another fav)) with our burgers and nothing but the finest Heinz tomatoe ketchup for the fries.
After dinner we're sure to open the bottle of Highland Park single malt that Santa put under the tree and chow down on the copious amounts of truffles and candies lying around. I'm looking forward to it.
Merry Festivus to all!
