I love Eiswein from German and the Alsace, but I've never tried Canadian. The most amazing I ever drank was a couple of very old bottles of an Austrian eiswein (and I cannot for the life of me remember what it was
I've never really found a food I like drinking it with. Some people serve it with desserts, but I find it makes the end of the meal too sweet. I've occassionally servered it with walnuts and blue cheese at the end of a meal, but I'm honestly not 100% convinced.
We tend to drink it on winter evenings, sitting in front of the fire with calming music and dim lights.
