Oilers' Eberle heading to AHL

In a juicy twist, Edmonton Oilers prospect Jordan Eberle finished with exactly the same number of points this season as ballyhooed juniors Taylor Hall and Tyler Seguin, who all tied for second place in the Canadian Hockey League scoring behind Brandon Kozun of the Calgary Hitmen.
Eberle, Hall and Seguin all finished with 106 points, one back of the 162-pound Kozun, a Los Angeles Kings draft pick.
Eberle, who was predictably assigned to the American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons on Tuesday after his Regina Pats missed the Western Hockey League playoffs, will likely have either the left-winger Hall or centre Seguin as an Oilers teammate this fall at training camp.
The Oilers will probably be taking one of the two highly-touted players with their first overall draft pick in June.
