Streaking Hitmen stun Blades

Calgary Herald

November 26, 2011

Calgary 6

Saskatoon 2

Brandon Glover made 34 saves and the Hitmen's special teams came up big as Calgary shocked the Western Hockey League's top team - the Saskatoon Blades - 6-2 on Friday.

A whopping 80 minutes in penalties were doled out between the clubs, but it was Calgary that took advantage with Spencer Humphries and Jimmy Bubnick scoring power play markers, while Joe Kornelsen chipped in a short-handed tally for the visitors.

Bubnick added another, while Brooks Macek and Greg Chase also scored for Calgary, who've won three straight.
