I have a 16" Great Canadien canoe that I dropped taking it off the roof of a van. We've repaired the wood edges (gunnel?) with pins and epoxy in two places and used clamps to draw the shape back together( about 3 inches. To describe me as a novice would be an understatement. Now I have cracks in the fiberglass finish and would like advice on how to proceed. We have been thinking that if the fiberglass is not too bad, we should leave it and simply put more urethane on the damaged area. I would like to repair my canoe while maintaining the original integrity as much as possible. Any thoughts would be appreciated
