This forum is dedicated to the growth, development,enhancement, and evolution of all martial artists who wish to participate here. We are well versed in Karate (as it used to be taught, a lethal combat art), Boxing, Muay Thai, Judo, Wrestling, Joint locking arts, and the art of the late Bruce Lee. However, I would suggest such arts as a beginning point to what real understanding is - as a WHOLE/BODY MIND APPROACH.

if we are very fortunate, I believe we ultimately evolve to an Internal understanding of fighting arts. Real knowledge is based on principles which transcend any style. While most martial arts, including JKD or Karate are not known as internal, such is real, accessible and applicable. This can be so, providing one has begun the process of understanding the concept of 'Internal Continuity. Which is how the body's neuromuscular pathways are firing, how the body and skeleton are working together internally to make things happen - regardless of outer appearance. .

It is my personal belief that the warrior's path is one that should be steeped in honesty, integrity, humility, strength of character and purpose. In the spirit of a healthy exchange and sharing of knowledge, please join in and express your thoughts, ask questions, discuss; not for the sake of debate, but for the sake of opening pathways to what may be a deeper truth.

The goal for all of us is to achieve a clearer, higher, deeper understanding of our practice and what we do as martial artists. We all have an outer practice; and then we have our inner or personal art. By personal art, I mean those special inner discoveries that make each of us unique to one another. Let us examine how we can make our arts even more dynamic, alive powerful! There is no training idea or question too far out to discuss.
