Your short post described things perfectly (to me, anyhow). I am continually mystified as to why people who profess to be aligned with many of the basic tenets of the Libertarian party do not vote Libertarian. The only theory that I have ever come up with is this: voters also have their own more secretive agenda which is not supported by the Libertarian platform. So, they talk one way and vote another way (gasp). Danger Duck does not approve.
