Eric Laufer, an Austin-based musician, was riding home from a gig when a cager in an SUV hit him from behind. Eric was thrown off and left to die. The cager drug the bike another mile before dislodging it from the SUV's grille, and then drove away.

Today it's been announced the family is renewing their offer of a $5000 reward for info on the SUV driver, Jose Luis Dorantes.

Hope they find the POS.
