I know a lot of you remember him from the days of Iron Horse and the early issues of THBC.
For those who have not been following on Facebook, he has been in need of a liver transplant for some years now, the "free" health care system in the UK dicked him around and then told him he was not going to get a transplant.
Don came back to the USA a year or so ago, but was unable to afford much treatment, but he was always hopeful of being able to make enough money to pay for some before it was too late. He was at the Smoke Out, but the heart got to him and he wasn't well at all.
He was admitted to the hospital a few days ago in Indianapolis, they have found several tumors that appear to be cancerous, to add to his problems.
This is just an FYI, not asking for prayers or positive energy or whatnot.
He's always been a fighter, but it sounds like he's resigned to his fate here, hopefully they'll give him a kick in the ass.
