Antillectual News May 2007: New songs online, USA tour & 7”

Hello dear friends!

First of all we have had an amazing winter tour through France and Spain last January. All this thanks to the great shows that were organized and the lovely people we met. We’re still hooked on touring. If you want to read all about it, and check out some pictures, go to www.antillectual.com and check the tour report. And finally we got the chance to record some new demo songs in preparation of the new record. For the really lazy ass people: download them directly from our website www.antillectual.com:


For the socially gifted people: listen them on our Myspace: www.myspace.com/antillectual. Nico van Montfort recorded the songs in the Snowstar Studio in Panningen, the Netherlands in March 2007. These are the first recordings with new drummer Riekus. Please, let us know what you think of the new songs! Lyrics can be found on the website and myspace.

As we said, these songs are demo songs for the new album we will record in august in Germany with producer Nico van Montfort (a.o. Face Tomorrow, Malkovich, Instil). Excitement all over. It is still undecided which label will release this new full length.

In the summer of 2004 we toured the East Coast of the USA. And this summer we will be touring the U.S.A. again. To practice the new songs live some more we will be doing a 16 dates tour together with Static Radio (Chunksaah records) from New Jersey (www.myspace.com/staticradio) in July. And to return the favor, we will be going on tour with them through Europe in September and October. Check our site for the exact dates.

In addition to the USA tour in July the Pennsylvania based label Square of Opposition Records will release a 7” containing the three newly recorded songs and three songs from our last full length “Silencing Civilization”. The upcoming recordings will be very exhausting financially speaking, and therefore we have made some merchandise offers you simply cannot refuse. We hope. We are "selling out" because we've invested quite a bit in merchandise over the years and we are gonna need all the cents we can scrape together for the recordings.
