Losing x Streak started rehearsing around april 2005. Their main goal was to play the music they love (being the hardcore anno 2000 like Shark Attack and later on the early Outbreak) but with a straightforward straight edge-attitude. After a whole year of rehearsing and after finally finding the perfect guy for the vocals, Losing x Streak really got their thing going and realized more and more that they could achieve more than only having fun and playing instruments. The band played their first show in February 2007 in Izzegem/Belgium for a packed venue of really siked kids who turned the place into some real HC-madness we all love so much: stage dives, sing-a-longs and moshing around.

Unabashedly wearing their New York hardcore influences on their sleeves, Rampage seem to channel the energy of Breakdown and Straight Ahead without blatantly lifting riffs or stealing ideas from either of these seminal NY bands. Unlike many bands influenced by this style, Rampage remembers that speed is one of the most important ingredients to the recipe of good NYHC - breaking from many prevailing hardcore trends, 'Limit Of Destruction' opens with a drum blast that is as reminiscent of the Crumbsuckers or Ludichrist as their less crossover influenced NYHC brothers. This twelve track full length flies by at eighteen minutes, and is a reminder of the old hardcore adage 'loud fast rules.' Now available on colored vinyl.

Musically, Ruiner takes hardcore and punk and adds a dark melody along with mixing up song structures and tempos to keep the listener from being able to predict what's next. When you talk about the heydey of New York Hardcore, it'd be impossible to do it without mentioning one of the most important bands of the time, Token Entry. Hailing from Queens, NY, and fronted by local hero Timmy Chunks, the band made a name for themselves by constantly playing in and around New York, developing a loyal following of both punk and hardcore kids alike and becoming a mainstay of the flourishing NYHC scene. Token Entry's second full-length, 'Jaybird,' originally released in 1988 on Roadrunner Records imprint label Hawker Records, took their signature sound of punk rock influenced hardcore to the next level. Blending the back-bone and groove of bands like Bad Brains with the positive force of bands like 7 Seconds, 'Jaybird' hits hard with standout tracks such as the album's opener 'The Fire,' the title-track 'Jaybird,' and the the band's own theme song 'Token Entry.' Following up the critical acclaim of 'Jaybird,' Token Entry pushed the hardcore/punk envelope even further with their finale, 1990's 'The Weight Of The World.' Their 3rd LP showcased the band stretching their musical wings, incorporating rock, metal, and even funk influences into their songs. Token Entry was an important part of the history of New York Hardcore, and their influence is still being felt today. Now these two classic albums will be available again, together in one place, for old and new fans alike.
