Hey Gunny,

I have read your article about the origins of 'Ooh-Rah!'. And it sounds solid. I am currently attending Bible college to become a minister and came across a Hebrew word that comes extremely close to our battle cry and has the same meaning as well. The Hebrew word is 'Ruwa' (pronounced roo-'ah). It's meaning is, "Ruwa is the battle cry. An act of war, ruwa declaring to all who hear the might and unstoppable power of the Lord of Hosts, and the inescapable destruction of His enemies. It was with the ruwa that the walls of Jericho came crashing down." Just something to chew on Gunny.
