Sable Jak
To the people who perpetrated the attack on New York and Washington:
You think you have created fear in the people of the United States. If you have, it is momentary. Instead you have created a determination that you will be hunted down and forced to face justice.
You think you have won some sort of victory. What you have won is the prize of having every American join together against you.
You think Americans will cower and pray. We will pray. We will pray for our fallen and pray for your capture, but we will not cower.
Americans across this land have bonded together today, from hip-hoppers and "suits" and grandmothers to Catholics and Muslims and Jews, from the young and the old to the laborer and the executive, we have all banded together against you.
You have attacked us, you have shocked us, but most importantly you have awakened the sleeping giant of the '40's once again and instilled in every fiber of its being a bottomless resolve to see you destroyed.
This is your wake up call, we're coming to get you.

Bravo, Sable Jak!! How well you state what we're all thinking out here. America was formed from the "free thinkers" of the world, the ones who insisted on the right to think their own thoughts, to live their own lives, in short- the "misfits" of the world. We have not lost that rebellious spirit. We have become the strongest nation in the world precisely because, for all our faults, we are freer than anyone else. We will never give in. We will never give up. And we will ALWAYS win.

First of all i want to express my deep feelings for the victims and their relatives. Why must they die?
We here in Germany are completely shocked.
I think that this terroristic attack will not be the last in our civilized world. If you follow the news you can see who is responsible for this massmurder, even noone declared himself. Look at the people in Ghza, Irak and Afghanistan. If we want a future for our children we got to punish the terrorists and the people hosting them in their countries. Afghanistan, Sudan, Pakistan and Irak are the biggest enemies for our future. George W. please: Eradicate terrorists AND their friends. Show these human crap that liberty a worth fighting for.

just another voice to say my network of family and friends are all thinking of the families who were effected by yesterday's tragedy...
and, to reiterate that we will focus our initial energy on healing and then, on justice. our response will be intelligent, swift and brutal. i think the world will be shocked how far the united states will go to rid the world of such organized terrorist threats.
sometimes, i get the sense that the world perceives the US as a group of overweight, myopic people who cling to materialism. those people will be amazed as to our resole to preserve freedom.

I send my deepest sympathy to the victims of the terrible terrorist attack and their families, and all my country do so.
We were all very shocked and surprised that someone tries to destroy the peace we are living in.
I hope that the authors of these barbaric acts will be found and punished.
Today, in western Europe, is a day of mourning, and we all made 3 minutes of silence (at 12h AM) in honor of those who find death in this tragedy.
Like Markus, I think we should look very carefully at all these rogue states in the Near East, like Pakistan, Soudan, Irak, ... because they are all dangerous for everybody on the planet. They doesn't know the word 'Peace'.
