From Muslims and Arabs in NYC

Bin Laden is a traitor. He's as evil a man as Arial Sharon ever thought of being. Look what he's done. Do people think America will have sympathy for the oppression of our people now? How could they? We've attacked them, again. I want to cry.

People call America "The Great Satan". Do you know that in the Koran we are instructed to give 15% of our income to the Mosques to support widows and children that have no father to raise them? In America we pay much more than 15% to the government, nearly two thirds of that money goes into programs to help the poor, and by God's grace we are richer for it. America is not evil. I grew up in a country that was evil. (He's from Syria) Bastards from the Bath Party took young girls from our village all the time and used them as whores as they chose. If you did more than cry they shot you. We were nothing, less than nothing. In this country no one would dare do such a thing to my daughters. Give me a gun. I will kill Bin Laden myself.

This whole thing has nothing to do with God, or Jews, or religion. This is a small group of men who drive around in Zil limousines and live like kings while our people suffer. They know that without pointing to the Jews as our enemy, and this "Jihad" as our struggle, the people will begin to ask why we have no freedom in our own country, why we have no jobs, no schools, and no say in who rules us. My children will grow up here as Americans. We should be forming brigades of the Arabs here. We speak the language, we know these countries, this is our country now, and we will fight for it.

I came to this country illegally. When they caught me do you know what they did? They made me pay the taxes I owed and let me stay. They let me bring my father here. I met my wife here. My children were born here. My children are Americans. I came here on a ship as a laborer and snuck off to stay with friends. I remember seeing those towers and the Statue of Liberty as we pulled in. I'd never seen anything like them before. They reached so high and shown in the sun like gold. Today I watched them burn and fall. (He started crying). I want to kill these people. They're no blood of mine.

Thank you for making me feel better about people from the Middle East. It's easy to hate when one is suffering. It help to know you are sad too.

I would feel better if your worldly experiences would leave you with the desire to find a way to end the cycle of violence. The fact that you are ready to go off and commit violence in the name of your new country makes us all the same. They kill for their God/Country/Race. We kill for the same reasons, but our cause is just theirs is not.....

Although I was raised as a Christian, I have had many roundtable discussions with friends of other faiths. One thing that all of my Islamic friends agree to is that these actions go directly against the tenants of the faith.

There are radicals in every group, including christians who will take select parts of a religious text to make it say anything that they want to believe.

I hope that others can realize this and stop blaming our American muslim brothers and sisters for actions that they had no part of.

I wish you well, and hope that people come to their senses soon. In the meanwhile, keep yourself safe.
