I decided to write this leter in clarification to what's going on around the world, and I'd like to get your opinions on it.
First, let me mention that I'm not American and I don't have a religious inclination, so I'm trying to see this with an open heart.
I should also pinpoint that I admire the peaceful and understanding tones of the Muslim religion as much as I abhor the violence in which some people are using it for their personal Jihad.
Now to my clarifications:
Yes, the USA has been involved in the area and sometimes in a detrimental way. Yes, the people in Afghanistan have been suffering for a long time, but Afghanistan and the USA WERE NOT AT WAR WHEN THOSE 6000 PEOPLE WERE KILLED !!!!
They are at war now due to the Taliban's involvement with terrorism and their inability to care for their own people. They are using religion as an excuse to murder fathers, mothers and children ( their own ) and to get money to fund terrorist groups who murder others around the world instead of helping and educating their population. By banning the free media and information they are ensuring that the people they "govern" are brainwashed into following their ruling without the ability to make their own judgement and by keeping people uneducated they are ensuring that, in the eyes of their people, the blame falls on the shoulders of the western societies as opposed to where they belong.
SIX THOUSAND innocent people were viciously murdered as they went on their lives not knowing that there was a secret war against them.
People in Afghanistan were warned 3 weeks before the bombings started and their deaths are painfully sad. The Taliban had not ONE but TWO chances to hand over Bin Laden and avoid the whole war, but they chose to support the man who finances them and let their people get killed as a consequence. The USA didn't start this, terrorists did.
HOW DARE THEY come now and try to prove to us that their civilians are dying ? THEY are murdering their own by supporting terrorism, by refusing to hand over a man who is head of a group responsible for the death of 6000 innocent people, by brain washing angry fundamentalist groups into believing that killing innocent unexpecting civilians is Jihad !
To the protesters:
This is not about Islam, this is not about faith, this is not about Jihad. That's their excuse ! Stop using escape goats. Protest against the real enemy. The cowards who blame others for their own sins and trash their own religion in the process. Religion which is used as a weapon is poison. It's easy to interpret scriptures to fit your own motives when you have people who need an excuse to vent their own evil desires. When religion is used as an excuse to mass genocide it must be stopped.
Peace to all, from all religions, colors, races, sexes and nationalities. That's my wish.
