Above link goes to a firefox extention that lets you select a m ail client to send mail from when you encounter a mailto on a website.
You just right click and you can select which to use....Yahoo, Msn, Netscape, Squirrel, Hourd, Gmail and it even has one that you can configure yourself.
ED I know you use Thunderbird but this is still a neat tool to have.
If you want to send a business letter and use say Yahoo you can do that.
If you want to just send text to a friend you can use Hourd or Thunderbird. I think.

Profile Instructions...I got this link form a question Iadked on the firefox help forum.
Y a know that you can make a new profile...but usually you have to redownload the extentions and what not again into the new profile.
Well this gentleman came back with detailed instructions on cloning a complete profile.
I resently had my default profile go haywire...wo I had to make a new one...Pain in the kazoo... but now i have the informatin so that I can take my nice new clean good running profile and clone it just incase something stuffs up the one I just made...L) Good to have a good back up. Sometimes these extentions gum up the works..
Like the tabbrowser Preferance...it is suspose to do alot of great things... but it just stuffs up my windows... Instead of my windows opening in a new tab or window they load in the same window... no matter what I have the options on. So it is disabled.
Also Yahoo tool bar.. I had that on for about 2 hours...then disabled it.. every time a browser window came up the additional icons (go button, history button) would disapear...and I would have to go put them back on... Not worth it. Have most of the yahoo things I need bookmarked anyway...
Phill it is kind of like the scripts thing and what not with duel commands not clustered.
you got someone over here developing this extension and not thinking about how it will run with someone elses extention...LOL We need a big think tank to put all the deverlpers in so they can talk and compair with each other...
