changed again? Yesterday I tried to get on one of your script sites but nothing appeared.. and I began to wonder. Until I had a gaze at the source.. now I understood. because of disabling the META refresh the miracle of transport didn't run for me.. lol I think I have to renew the n54_links .. sigh..
what happened to slingshot?

Sorry Ed...

1 reason, but not my main reason for moving was the long DN "http://homepages.slingshot.co.nz/~mrpip/" so annoying, try telling some one the long url, get to the little squiggle "you know the key infront of the 1 key" I can never remember what the "little squiggle" is called.
Because of the new short url "http://mrpip.orcon.net.nz/" I'd like to think this url is permanent

Better change my sig to

Yes I have noticed that too, I like caching images of sites I visit often to speed up loading but am unable to with the new host.
There are no ads, well none of the logs are showing it.

unacceptable. Netscape needed 38,5 seconds to make the page appearing.. and I'm on fast cable connection.

(The ads.. my fire wall is having an ad blocker, and some pics are in 'wrong size' so the w3.org-validator image isn't shown either, for example)

If you bother with looong names why don't you use a re-direct name for slingshot-names ?
my homepage for example is listed as ratedhome.de.tf/ instead of the long name which it really has

My re-direct provider:
http://www.unonic.com/start/index_US.shtml

I always get only a few seconds difference than slingshot (dialup, around 10 sec)

Reason being, site is not cached causing size to be "not available", waiting for responce from orcon on this issue
