I totally agree. That's what I do and it works well. My gelding bucks everyonce in a while just to show his annoyance, and gets a whack but for the main part I can excuse it just because he is telling me I'm pushing his buttons. I also rode an app who was like that and did it to my 10 year old friend, and I and I would get after him so bad he'd end up in a full lather. I'd always feel bad but everytime I was about to quit he'd buck again and I have to quit on a good note. So everyime I could feel him about to buck I'd jerk his head up and push him on even if it looked kinda wild. It worked, but he just would rather be a pasture orniment.
But when they try to get you off, get a person on her who knows how to handle a horse like that. Any reason why she might want to do that?
