A few of us went over to volunteer for DBI and help where we could. I was proud to see what the organizers had done over a two year commitment to purchase boats, attract sponsors, create an event team and introduce an entirely new sport to a country. This was an extraordinary contribution to the sport no matter what direction the event takes in the future, sport or community. Few people or voluntary groups would take on such an enormous task and it was executed incredibly well. I say hat's off to the organizers for seeing the vision through and bring Dragon Boating to Israel. |
