Just to let crews know that the Welland Sport Regatta is going to be on Saturday June 18th, not Sunday June 19th as previously announced. Racing will begin at 9:00am.

The event will still be 1x1000m, 1x200m, 1x500m to seed crews, then a 500m final. There are cash prizes as well. This event is one of the qualifying events for club crews interested in the Club Crew World Championships held in Toronto in 2006.

Is that right? I think on the bulletins it's Central Canada isn't Sudbury (1 spot) and Welland NACCC (2 spots) for Canada for qualifying next year's WCCC in TO? I didn't read anything previous regarding the June Welland being a qualifier?

He didn't say it was a race off, He said it was a quaifying regatta.

All club crews must race in one qualifying regatta to be eligable to win the race off. Either in Sudbury or NACCC.

I guess it to prove you are a club crew racing in other events other than the race off.
