Hi all,
Just a quick invite to the teams coming out to Montreal next weekend for the Lachine knockout. Stick around for the fun later at McKibbin's. Mayfair and Pickering, we expect to see you boys and girls on the dance floor again. And stop complaining to me about the dirty floors at the pub. Just avoid white shoes, wear flip-flops and you'll be fine.
Have a great season, everyone!
Pickering was a blast by the way! Scott, great job!

Funny, it seems all the dopes from TO can talk about is coming to MTL and trying to hook up with our wimmin'. Guess your pick up lines didn't work too well last year did they sport?

Well, let's see... the first year, the pub was so packed, we had to turn people away because we'd exceeded the fire code max and last year the place was packed well past 3 a.m., so yes... I guess the "skanky women/skanky pub" approach is working amazingly well for us..

I always love it when the bottomfeeders come out to play on this forum... This is just a party announcement, you boob! Take it or leave it.. why the need for disparaging comments?

You answered your own question.

Yup this was an invite, but the pre-pubescent losers in TO only feel good when they put others down. I guess a city that sucks the life out of people, has no class and no NIGHT LIFE what so ever, breeds that kind pathetic attitude.

T.O Nightlife Far More 'Lively'

June 7 2005, 11:35 AM

Toronto has no night life?? Oh, come on. A LOT more people get shot in and around Toronto nightclubs than those in Montreal!! (okay, so 'lively' wasn't the best choice of words).

Oh, and Toula, just because the pub was jammed does not NECESSARILY mean it was so great -- it could mean you just attract a high population of skanks...

Just teasing, of course, in my limited and so long ago experience, Montreal women are fantastic!! Sorry I'll miss the party.

I really hope this forum is not a reflection of Toronto. Why there are so many people on here just waiting to attack posts/teams/people is beyond me

Actually looking forward to the party.
The lachine knockout formula doesn't exactly exhaust you. It's just 200 m races and we're done early enough in the day, so teams have time to relax, eat and then go party. Besides, its GP weekend and everyone's heading downtown anyway.
And there are no clear favourites in Lachine this year, so it will be fun to watch the finals. I predict some upsets and some need for alcohol later on. Some teams will need it to celebrate and some to drown their sorrows. Either way, why not do it at the party?

Skanky women and skanky pub?
Just try and keep me out of that place!! LOL

Oh yeah.. and good luck to all crews. Should be a fun day of racing. Let's see what Mayfair has to bring, after last week's impressive performance in Pickering and let's see if the Wongs can redeem themselves after last week's disaster. Bring on the contenders!!

Great fun!

June 13 2005, 2:15 PM

Party was lots of fun and the place was packed. Great turnout! It was a hot summer night, downtown was full of people because of the GP, everyone was suntanned and happy and a great mood filled the air. You can tell that summer is here.. My friends and I had a great time, once again.
