I understand the final mini-regatta for the GWN Summer Sizzler series happened today, what were the results and who were the participants?

I only remember the top four teams which were:

1) Hanalei
2) Hammerheads
3)The Saints
4)Mayfair Warriors

Did anyone notice the boat further out in the harbour that raced alongside with the teams doing the knockout races? Maybe the Imps? About 5 or 6 rows full racing against full boats

Those Imps are so good, they can practice with half a boat and still keep up with other crews who are full.

I would be surprised if it was the Imps. They practice out of the west end.

That's ridiculous. how does a team with only 5-6 rows keep up with full teams?

They didn't.
They were practicing their starts out in deeper water.

The mystery team actually beat some teams out there!

I honestly thought that they were the imps, but the mofos?!?

I really enjoyed the races and the knock out format. Great way to end the series. Kudos to all.

If it was the MOFOS then there must have been some serious steriod therapy treatement going on... head to head against Hanalei and Hammerheads probably would have a no show from MOFOS!
Get real people!

Mofos were out when the division C and D knockouts were happening, but I didn't see a boat to the left of us in lane four in the A knockout. If they were there they must have been far enough away as to make a compairson of pace impossible.

On another note, kudos to GWN for putting on a good event. The knockout format was fun as it introduced an element of strategy (ie, pacing the team to go only as fast as needed to be be last in each heat) that's absent in other events.

who are the imps?

i know who the imperial dragons are, but the imps? i dunno man.
