The only question left is when will the Silvermasters unleash their deadly black-swans-with-lasers-on-their-heads?

Unfortunately, our team was called in by the parks board and we were told that we would not be allowed to modify any of the black swans this year. In the past, when the races were over the swan keepers had trouble trying to catch and disarm the black swans. They would cause havoc on the other wildlife on the river (white swans ducks geese etc) for days after the event. We will have to come up with some other secret weapon this year

Kevin, is there a women's race this year and is it at the end of the day? Appears to be 6 women's teams not including the Breast Cancer teams.

Lane One would like to lodge a formal protest against the team prancing around as Lane 4.

We allege that they have exhibited a gross lack of creativity and thought in coming up with their team name. Our lawyers are in contact with Donald Trumps as we speak and we are trying to find out how to copywrite the word “Lane” along with any following number.

I just hope we don’t all end up getting in each others boats and stuff is we race each other.

Recent conversation overheard by a couple distraught Lane One’ers

Lane One’er #1: So we are lane one right?
Lane One’er #2: That is correct
Lane One’er #1: But there is also another lane one
Lane One’er #2: No, that would be Lane 4
Lane One’er #1: But I thought we were in lane 4
Lane One’er #2: We are in Lane Four, Lane 4 is in Lane One
Lane One’er #1: How can we both be in the same boat?
Lane One’er #2: Pulls hair, “We aren’t in the same boat”
Lane One’er #1: Look, I am just saying that this is going to be confusing
Lane One’er #2: Your confusing
Lane One’er #1: Hey we didn’t come here to think. I signed up for a fun end of season race. I heard band, party and Jello shots, but this is starting to sound like I may need to pay attention here.
Lane One’er #2: Maybe Kevin can help?

A womens race will take place as the 2nd last race of the day. The top 4 teams from Heat 1 will race in a special Final.

Would a member of Lane 6 please contact the steers for Lane 5. I think that you dropped your wallet in the laneway last night after practise. I found it near Lane 1's coach's home.

Pretty soon there will be a team named after each lane on the course and then into the alphabet.
