Here's the format that they have listed on the GWN website, is this correct??? It looks like they're reverting back to a heat, then quarter final (A/B, C/D, E/F, and so on), then semi final on Sunday (10 per division to place into championships and consolation) and finally a divisional final or consolation race. This is a different format from last year.

Can someone please confirm?

Two-day regatta

Each crew must have a minimum of eight female paddlers for a total of no more than 20 paddlers in the boat, plus one steersperson and one mandatory drummer. (paddlers must be 16 or older)

Saturday heats and quarter finals with subsequent seeding for teams into divisional and category semi-finals and finals/consolations on Sunday

Guaranteed minimum 4 races per crew (two on Saturday, two on Sunday)

Industry, Open, Women's challenge races for qualifying teams.

the website must be out of date. your team already has two qualifying heats scheduled for saturday. so how can the second one be a quarter final if you already know who's in it?

that's a rhetorical question, in case you weren't sure.

The Saturday races are two heats as stated in the draw, with a total time to determine divisional groups of 10.
Semis and finals on Sunday.
