I am trying to convince my boss to put a together a team for next year. Nothing too fancy. Just a fun crew to start off on the 1st year, then we'll see where that would take us.

I'm looking for SHORT videos of canadian dragon boat racing. I'd appreciate if anyone could post URLS of SHORT videos so that I may convince my boss of putting a team together. (please don'T send me urls of korean db which is different than canadian db racing)

contact the festival in your area. They should have some media coverage tape (etc) that you can use. Companies want to see the bang for their buck and established festivals do have this type of promotion.

If not, contact one of the bigger suppliers and see if they can help you

Lively Dragon had a DVD made of our Milton 2005 spring event. We are thrilled with it. We feel it captures the essence of dragonboating as well as the community spirit behind it.
It shows both recreational and competitive teams having a great time.
At the end of the DVD it shows the mayor present and awards being handed out as well as the entertainment.
It is 18 minutes long.
The cost of the DVD is $15.

There used to be a site with all the Philly world championship races on it. Does that still exist? I have the actual videos, but can't exectly post them.

hmmmm...not sure I know how do post a clip of the event on here...
but I am sure you can talk to anyone who has seen it and I am confident they will give the movie good reviews... smile All team captains that were at the event should have received one by now.
you could go to the website and find out what teams were there... and then contact them... or... just take my word for it... it is good.
