| Anyone take the TTC to Sunnyside? What's the best way to get there from Bay & Queen?
Thanks! |

Queen streetcar west to Parkside (2 stops past Roncesvalles). Go down the steps, walk south to the lake and west past the pool and you're there. |

If the traffic on Queen is bad, you're going to be on the streetcar for a very long time.
If you know it's going to be bad, its worth the trip going north onto the Bloor line, then going West to either Dundas West (take the 504 streetcar, runs very frequently) or if you time it right which drops you off at Roncesvalles, or go to Keele Station (89 Queensway Bus)and this will drop you off right on Lakeshore close to the Ice cream stand. |

Dude, get a bike. It's probably an easy 30 minute ride. Don't be like the people that take the elevator to get to the gym! |

If Shantastic had this problem he would would grab the street sign at Younge and Lakeshore and pull Sunny Side to himself.
Why - because he is Shantastic |

Thanks for the bike comment - you're right, it's not a far ride from work, but it sure would be a long ride home in the dark! |

The subway ride to Keele is short, but because the Queensway bus isn't that regualr, you cam be left waiting at the station for ages. An earlier poster said that the Queen car is good as long as the traffic isn't bad. I took a street car a long Queen Monday night that conitunes along the Queensway route and it took less than 25 minutes. I'm all about biking, but it can be a pain with all you gear and the way Toronto drivers pay little or no attention to anyone rideing. | |
