| hi everyone,
just wondering if anyone has a ZRE and if it makes a whooping kind of sound when you paddle with it?

It's your recovery/flick of the wrist at exit causing the noise.
I've been using a ZRE for years now. When others use it some get the whoosh, some don't.

If your exit is more sideways, you get a really good "whoop!" out of the ZRE.
When we first used them back in New York a couple years ago, we all played with them to make the "whoop" sound deliberately. Silly fun.
