1 Madawaska Sprinters One of the winningest teams of all time. Would have been ranked higher statistically if it were not for a DNF at 911
2 House of Lancaster So what if they raced in only 1 regatta? This is the Mississauga Canoe Club - Junior Edition. These guys live and breathe flatwater
3 Canada Life Imperial Dragons Wins in Wildwood and the ultra competitive 911 regatta gives this team the edge.
4 BMO Investorline First Dragons The dominant team at Centre Island came within a hair of winning 911.
5 Cyberplex Shaolin Monks Placed outside of the top 3 only once this year. Won the Summer Sizzler for brownie points.
6 Scotia Spitfires Champs of Pickering and London makes this team great. But has yet to consistently beat the teams ahead of them.
7 Hunter Steel Dragons of Steel Top 3 in every regatta that counted. But never won any of them.
8 Canada-USA Free Trade 1 One of 3 teams that only raced in 1 regatta and was still included. But that race was 911 where there were about 20 contenders and they finished sixth
9 Cascades Canoe Club Another Canoe Club to worry about. Only 2 races but 2nd and 3rd in each. The latter being in Ottawa
10 Mayfair Predators Always strong through the heats but seems to falter in the final
11 CMI Phoenix Break-Aways A newcomer team that shocked everyone and came in a close second at Pickering. Flatwater paddlers must help.
12 Toronto Rehab Dragoneers A Excellent team. Consistency over 5 regattas landed them this spot
13 Nortel Networks - Passport Paddlers Came in 4th in Ottawa and won convincingly in Montreal (yes I notice that's in Quebec but they beat some good Ontario teams there)
14 Sinai Lightning The Champs of the TIDBRF Community Division are always good
15 Sing Tao Daily/Sing Fai 1 Didn't count their win in Guelph but this team always seems to do well in Stratford
16 Mercedes Benz Came within 20 meters of winning the TIDBRF Corporate Division. Self destruction in Stratford hurt their score.
17 CCC Cyclones 3rd in TIDBRF Community was nice but other results were 8th and 9th
18 TCBA Jr. - Crimson Tide 6th in TIDBRF Community Division and beat seeds #12 & #16 in Stratford
19 Rogers AT&T Wireless Warriors 2nd in Waterloo and top 10 in other events except Stratford
20 CIBC - 1/ ROYAL LE PAGE RELOCATORS Not the same as 1999 but this team usually finished in the top 10 at all events except for the star-laden 911
21 U of T Piranhas Improved in the 2nd half of the season and came within a stroke of beating the #5 ranked Monks at Waterloo
22 G Force Dragons 7th place finish in Ottawa best result for this team in 2000. However, 14th in 911 pushes them ahead of the ones behind them
23 Ellicesaki Komodo Dragons 6th in Wildwood and 12th in Stratford won this team the #23 spot
24 Scream'n Demons 20th place finish in Ottawa hurt this team's score pretty badly
25 Dragons of Squeal This new team has surprised quite a few in both Waterloo (7th) and Stratford (14th)
26 Mississauga Bladewarriors This team should have competed more to improve upon their 6th and 15th place finishes in Ottawa and Stratford
27 Baycrest Blades Finished 5th in the TIDBRF Community Division along with a 10th in Wildwood and respectable 19th at 911
28 TTA Hammerheads Other than the 8th place showing in TIDBRF Corporate Division, this team consistently placed in the lower half of the top 20.
29 CIBC - 2 Good program at CIBC. "B" Team in the top 30 along with their #20 seed brethren
30 Scotia Bank Group Same for Scotia Bank. Teams at #6 and #30
31 Catch 22 Another team that should have competed more to add on their 5th in Waterloo and the 11th in Stratford
32 Sunnybrook Brookaneers Yet another strong hospital team. 5th in London gives them entry in the top 35
33 Toronto Police Crime Waves Consistent placement in the second half of the top 20 scores #33 for Toronto's finest
34 Smoke on the Water 13th in TIDBRF Community and 14th in Waterloo makes this team consistent. Steersperson has a nice cape too!
35 Tsunami Dragon Boat Team 8th in London gives this team #35
