Anyone have a picture of one of those medals from this year's TIDBRF. Rumour has it that they were pretty nice this year. Is it true that everyone got one?
They're the same as last year except they've got a glossy finish.
God, dragonboaters..

Medals were a nice touch for the beginner or recreational teams that were there paddling their heads off and it gave them something nice to bring home. Back off and be nice, will ya?

still wearing my bronze medal, had a shower with it, and made love to my ex-wife with it, (she won a gold) her present husband won a plaque.

About the medals...They did NOT give enough medals to the teams. In some of the cups races (experience by my team) they only gave 22 medals and each team is allowed to enter 28 members (including Drummer and Steer). The whole team help to get up there and win. Their excused, “it’s for only the 22 people paddle that race!”
THAT SUCKS!

Medals awarded should ALWAYS be equal to the max number of people allowed on a roster.

F the medals/patches whatever. We're adults aren't we? Isn't it the satisfaction of knowing that you've raced well good enough?
