CCWC's & Mary JAugust 4 2006 at 4:31 PM | User not abuser |
| Just checked WADA site for info on what they term "canibinoids", any ideas as to how long they stay in the system? As they are generally deemed not sport enhancing should an occasional user be worried if their PIN is chosen for testing? |

Nonsense, if anything a slap on the wrist and a "stern warning" to stay straight. Now, if anything else shows up, then your screwed. |

It's only sport-enhancing if you participate in eating contests... |

Is it going to show up? Depends on the test used. If you've been partaking lately(*) and end up getting tested you (and the crew) could get DQed. Not slapped on the wrist, but DQed.
(*) lately, a period of time that could be a week or two or months, depending on if you're a habitual vs. occasional, how long you've smoked, your body fat %, genetics, and pure luck.
P.S. not the best place to bring this up, eh? What are you, 18?

| Drug testing at the CCWC??? | August 5 2006, 1:51 PM |
Are they actually drug testing at the Club Crew "World" Championship? Who cares?! It's not the real World Championships, and everybody knows that. This is the CLUB CREW championships, with crews invited from around the world. But there are far, far fewer nations represented at the CCWC than there are at the IDBF World Championships. Don't get me wrong; the CCWC is a cool event and all. But drug-testing??? |

Might be a bit difficult for some of (us) grand masters - maybe if they could wait until 2 in the morning, but otherwise ...

In South Africa they only tested the Premier Division medal winners. |
