I do agree with the above poster, if you have been around enough asian girls the MOFO girls are average looking at best, I don't know why there is so much of an AWWEE factor over them. Maybe the Dragon boating community is made up of a bunch of 30 Year old male virgins (hence the strong ARM), or a bunch of white dudes with Asian Fever and dont' know any better. But C'mon this isn't a beauty pageant, this is Dragon boating and the O.P. just wanted some support from the community in which she is a part of, and not asking to be trolled by a bunch of witty internet virgins.

I was genuinely curious as well. Even though some dolts went way beyond the limits of poor taste with their comments, the team became part of the forum through this exchange. Anyhoo, I checked their web site and actually couldn't find any mention of the event. That's not to say that it wasn't there - I just couldn't find it. Perhaps they cancelled the whole thing because of the trashy comments that were posted here? I have no idea. But I hope (and, in fact, I assume) they were able to completely disregard the trash talk and get on with their lives without giving it a second thought.

Yes, I can certainly see how a bunch of anonymous, trash-talking forum trolls apparently have the power to completely shatter the delicate self-esteem and confidence of some poor girls who made the terrible mistake of posting their event AND their team website on here... The team posted their event, someone posted the site address, the team pulled all reference to the event off their site and now people want to know what happened. If we didn't have the exhibitionist/voyeuristic society that we do where everyone feels the need to create a web site and post pictures of themselves all over it, then half of the insults would never have come up in the first place! So I definitely blame all of this on the internet. And society. And you for calling me, er I mean them, a chump.

OK, time for me to eat my words. I was a sh!t disturber here saying the woof and whatnot. But I decided to take special notice expecting this girls team to suck. They did not. They have decent technique for a new team and fared fairly well against established mixed boats. My hat's off to you, paddle well tomorrow.

I agree. Actually, I was not a **** disturber (in fact, I shouted out their name when I saw them making their way to the start line for the first race), but I saw them holding their own against a couple of the co-ed teams in their heat. Very impressive, guys. Keep it up!!

I watched these girls at gwn today... and i've got to say they really held their own...not only battling it out with co-ed teams and placing third in the mixed division. But also winning their womens final too...taking the lead from the get-go and never looking back.
