If we want this sport to be taken seriously, at the very least we need to be able to view results online same day (if not instantaneously) -- just as every other sport in the world does!!!!!

As unbelievable as it may be to the last poster, there are people OUTSIDE of the Toronto area that are very interested in the results. Pretty hard for us westcoasters to go down and watch them first hand. A world class event should have the results posted daily. The festival in Nanaimo can post the results the same day, and the world championships can't??

This is proof once again how arrogant Toronto and the GTA is. They presume everyone is in Toronto and they really don't give a F...K about the rest of the world. Toronto is the Centre of the Universe as is proven in all the media outlets etc...
Toronto organizers get off your ass and please post the results so the rest of Canada and the world can know what's going on....

A lot of us here in the great city of Toronto, Ontario would LOVE to see the results posted online. I fully agree with that. To suggest that they are not posted because Toronto as a city is arrogant is just too stupid to be worth the three minutes I spent typing this.

What I can't understand is in the last two World's they actually had photo finishes and the actual finish posted as the event was happening in "real time" yet Toronto is unable to do this.... I blame the Liberal Party, Dragon Boat Canada for being cheap .... Must be the same people who do the rankings here as the same people who are responsible for the postings

as someone from the GTA i would like to see the times posted as they come in, but if they havent done it or are not doing it - its not a big deal, just be patient. There are a lot of things they could have done better but just accept it as it is. Complaining and crying while the event is going on doesnt and wont get them done right now. Just wait ^^

Something they could have done was have it televised on tv where you can watch the races (i think it would be a great idea) but they probably dont have the funds to do so.

The 2006 CCWC, is owned and operated by the IDBF.
The City of Toronto in partnership with the organizing committee of the
2006 CCWC (Sharifa Khan, Paul Henderson), are running the event.
SRS was hired to provide boats, CCA Officials etc.

Anyone has any beef's and they can speak with Sharifa herself.

The people who are complaining are the people who aren't living in the GTA... HEY DUMB ASS' people do live outside the 416 area code please post something !!!

I am outside the GTA and have been waiting for several days for results. It's too bad, with all the money that Shariff has collected that she couldn't post results quicker than the Sun.

Maybe the Sun paid to have first rights to results forcing her to hold back 24 hours!!!!!
