| Looks like Toronto got its first true taste of rampant uniform trading this weekend at the CCWC's. What were the most coveted? I'd say that the Macau green shirts were a hot item, while it seemed near-impossible to score a Sloth's racing shirt. And did anyone take a German singlet home? |

I saw one guy from MAD (I think) trying on one of the German unitards. And all I could think was "ew, ew, ew....that hasn't been washed yet!!!!!" |

I'm not sure if they wore underwear underneath the unitards |

Anyone want to put any money down on whether or not False Creek shows up to the next CCWCs in Unitards? |

I remember CIBC tried out the unitards years ago. I think they lasted about one or two regattas before they were mocked back into regular jerseys. |

I think the hottest were probably the FCRCC as there were a lot of people coming over trying to trade anything and everything for one
The sloths were definately number 2 and they had a few different versions being traded inc the fur style .Macau was also hot but seemed trying to find one that fit the avg white guy was a chore but some scored
I ended up w/ a Sloths jersey but then again I had the hottest jersey to trade .

I love it....a guy from FCRCC saying that they had the hottest jerseys.

When it is paddleboy posting, what do you expect?
Then again, he doesn't really represent the rest of the team. |

I actually thought the G&G team had the best uniforms. I tried to trade with them and they wouldn't trade. |

I think you can get those sleeveless t's at any Athlete's World.
Boring, man.
Sloth's were the best, IMO. |

we definately did NOT have the best shirts out there. they were too baggy/loose, i hated the v-neck, the sizes were wierd... not good racing shirts. but they traded well, and i was happy to get nicer looking and fitting shirts for them. I think we got those shirts specifically because of the TO summer weather. the old false creek shirts were too thick and didn't breathe as well.
i was happy to end up with a Sloth shirt for one of my own. very cool shirts. | |
