Ronin Warriors - 2007
Ronin Warriors are recruiting new and experienced paddlers for the 2007 season.
Our main goal is to have fun, however, at the same time to either learn or improve on the paddling technique. The team will be practicing twice a week in Toronto.

I think it's a cool name. At least it's not gay.

The name sounds like a cartoon series. When does it air?

Interesting to note that if someone in our community decides to step out of the circle of comfort to try out a <gasp> original name, then they get mocked. I don't see how a group that collectively has too many dragon/wave/water/fish references in their names can afford be condescending.

Let the team do their recruiting and leave them be... <grumble>

What's the big deal poking fun at the name? The name doesn't mean anything, it's how they race and carry themselves within the community that matters. Whoever thought of the name has been paddling too long . They need to ask people with a liitle more imagination.

How about the aggressive outcasts or energetic outlaws? OutKAST - Hey YAH
Better yet the Ostracized conflicters.
