Dragon Boats in Venice!

The Henley Dragons of England are going to participate in another of the fun "armada" style events that occur on various waterways in Europe.

"The Henley Dragons are this year participating in the Vogalonga in Venice on Sunday 27th May. The non-competitive event expects around 1,000 boats and between 3,000 - 4,000 competitors.
...
The route is 30km and as it isn’t a race, it is proposed we stop off in Burano or Murano for a spot of lunch on the day!"

Sounds like fun.

It must be fun paddling in sewage. Something like the Lachine canal, only more pasta effluent.
