Getting that intimate feel would mean pulling the course towards the weedy shallow water on the inside so that the outside lanes would dominate. The club crews were setup to use the deeper water. I had no trouble seeing those races and I'll take a fairer course over an intimate one. Please note I said "fairer," not "perfect" or "100% even" or "bigger than Jesus" so there's no need to flame about the course's flaws.

I'm pretty sure the course is bigger than Jesus.
