Hello All,

We have finalized the entertainment for the 2007 Nortel Ottawa Dragon Boat Race Festival.

The Tim Horton Childrens Area will feature Little Rays Reptiles, Mad Science, The Montreal Circus, Chris Pilworth the Magician, Air Bounce, Face Painting and several new activities by Tim Hortons.

The Royal Oak Pub Beer Garden will feature a Paddler Kick Off Party on Friday night after the team captains meeting featuring the Mighty Popos playing on the main stage from 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM. The beer will be nicely chilled and we look forward to a great kickoff event.

On Saturday we have Jupiter Ray Project playing after the opening ceremonies followed by Skydiggers on the Royal Oak Pub Main Stage.

On Sunday we have Alfalfa playing followed by Jeff Healey & The Jazz Wizards on the Main Stage before the closing ceremonies and awards.

We also have a non stop DJ when bands are not playing and roving entertainment throughout the site all weekend.

We look forward to seeing you all at the Paddler Kick Off party on June 22nd at 7:30 PM

Totally off-topic, but I've noticed some ex-Canadian rockers, namely Jeff Healey, Lee Aaron, and Molly Johnson, have moved to jazz.

Sign of the times? Jazz becoming more popular? Or they no longer have "it" to rock out?

Finalized the new race format or advancement rules yet? All the info on the site is from last year.

We just finalized the schedule yesterday and will update the site accordingly. Team Captains all recieved the Team Captain manual at the launch which has the rules in it. You you are an out of town Team Captain and have not recieved the manual call Stephanie at 613 238-7711 and she will send it to the Team Captain.

However we had high hopes for Stanley to visit but he declined for Anaheim.
